Cookie policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
The short version
The Pinnomatic app (the signed-in dashboard) uses only strictly necessary cookies. Our public website may additionally use analyticscookies — but only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Nothing non-essential loads until you consent, and you can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Cookies we set
- Session cookie (
authjs.session-token) — keeps you signed in. Deleted or expired when you sign out. - Security cookies (
authjs.csrf-token,authjs.callback-url) — protect the sign-in flow against cross-site request forgery. - OAuth state cookie (
pinterest_oauth_state) — a short-lived cookie protecting the "Connect with Pinterest" flow. Removed as soon as the connection completes.
We also use your browser's local storage to remember which Pinterest account you last selected, and to remember your cookie choice. These never leave your browser.
Analytics cookies (public site, with consent)
When you accept analytics on our public website, we may load third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel to understand how the site is used and measure our marketing. These set their own cookies. If you reject, they are not loaded and set no cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer; clearing it stops further loading (already-set third-party cookies can be removed in your browser).
Managing cookies
You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Because all our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in to Pinnomatic.
